Ciara is capturing all the precious moments between her husband, Russell Wilson, and son, Future Zahir. The ‘Beauty Marks’ singer recently filmed her spouse and son catching passes.
Russell led the way during the activity. The NFL player gave just enough force so little Future could catch his passes. “Afternoon with the boys,” Russell said of the cute segment. Win Wilson, Future Zahir’s younger brother, was also present during the activity. The youngster crawled on the field while his dad and brother played football.
“These boys are going to be so multi-talented when they get older,” one social media follower said in reference to the moment between the celebrity father and his sons. “Win is bored,” another fan noted. “He’s looking for corn on the cob, not football,” the Instagram follower mused.
Future Zahir has engaged in several sports these past few months. It was just last year that the youngster was photographed while practicing football drills with his stepfather. Some assumed Russell was grooming Future to be a quarterback in the coming years. Little Future was also photographed in a softball uniform.
Some have criticized Russell Wilson for treating Future Zahir as his son when the youngster has a father who is involved with his life. Russell addressed the scrutiny during an interview last year.
“When I got to meet Future, he was young,” Wilson shared. “And the reality was that for me it was a blessing and an opportunity to really hopefully be there for him every day and try to care for him in a way that was important for me, that I always wanted someone to do for me. Like my dad did for me.”
Russell went on to say, “I think the greatest thing that I’ve ever learned in life is probably in that relationship with Future because the reality of being a stepparent is that biologically they’re not necessarily yours, but the reality is that you have to love them as if they are. They’re your own blood in a way. You get to love them that way. And I think every kid deserves that and needs that and yearns for that.”
Future Zahir is Ciara’s son with rapper Future. The ‘Level Up’ singer has two kids, Sienna and Win, with her husband.
