Nick Cannon’s 4-year-old son, Golden Cannon, is already headed to the first grade. Golden’s mom, Brittany Bell, took to Instagram to share her son’s accomplishment.
“He turned 4, cut his hair, and now first grade all in a matter of a few months,” Brittany exclaimed. “Just three months ago he was still my 3-year-old! So proud of him.”
Golden is not only headed to the first grade two years ahead of schedule but he also is learning to speak Mandarin. The little one had a few of the basics of the language conquered before his fourth birthday.
“This boy has such a gift for learning and has been a joy to pour into,” Brittany said on Friday (Apr. 16). “He has skipped preschool, pre-k, and now kindergarten- straight to first grade,” Bell said of her smart kid. “Emotional intelligence and cognitive abilities are key in balance before any acceleration should be permitted! Golden will soon pass along his intelligence to his younger brothers. The youngster’s father is expecting twins with his girlfriend, Abby De La Rosa, to arrive in the coming months. Abby confirmed Nick as the father of her unborn sons this past weekend.
“Thank you for choosing me to be your Mommy,” Abby shared with her sons. “Your Dad and I will always be here for you both; in complete unison and support. No matter what this world may throw your way, know that forgiveness is key and what is for you – is for YOU! You both are already so loved and we can’t wait to meet you both.”
Golden is Brittany Bell and Nick Cannon’s oldest child. The celebrities also have a daughter named Powerful who they welcomed on Christmas Day last year.
