Ne-Yo’s pregnant wife, Crystal Smith, will not let him have a vasectomy. The musician recently told TooFab that his spouse recently shut down the idea of him undergoing the operation.

“[I’m] not getting the surgery,” Ne-Yo revealed. “Now mind you,” he continued, “my plan was to get the surgery, ut she was like, ‘No, no, no, don’t get the surgery because if we ever decide we do want any more kids then we can’t do it,” Ne-Yo shared. “I’m like, ‘You just said you didn’t want more kids?’ And she was like, ‘I don’t want no (sic) more kids right now, but what if I want some [in the future]?’ I’m like, ‘Oh.'”

Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith announced their expectancy of another child a few weeks ago. The news of the family’s expansion came after the celebrities had a chance to reconcile and rebuild their marriage during quarantine.

“What the quarantine did was force us to sit down and get in each other’s face and have those uncomfortable conversations that we couldn’t have before, and the realization that we came to is that we love each other,” Ne-Yo shared during an interview with Access Hollywood.

“Nothing is stronger, nothing we can go through, nothing anybody can say or do, can ever be stronger than the fact that we genuinely and truly love each other,” Ne-Yo said. “Once we got to that, we’ve been great ever since.”

Are Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith ready to have more kids after welcoming their third child in the coming weeks? “So this last one is the plan, and then if God decides he wants us to have some more, I guess we’ll have some more (sic).”

Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith have two sons, Roman and Shaffer Jr., together. Ne-Yo fathers four kids – Roman, Shaffer Jr., Mason, and Madilyn – in all.
