Kaavia James is helping her social media fans finish the week strong. Gabrielle Union shared a video clip of her daughter with her Instagram fans on Thursday (Feb. 25).
In the post, Kaavia gives fans a smile while promoting a segment from Disney’s Moana (2016). “She brightens every day,” Union told her social media fans. “Here’s bit of @kaaviajames joy to get us over Hump Day.”
More than one million social media fans liked the video clip of Kaavia being joyful. “She’s so precious,” one Instagram follower wrote. Another fan said, “She is the best part of my timeline.”
Those who love Kaavia James and her big personality will appreciate Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s forthcoming children’s book, Shady Baby. The story revolves around Kaav and seeks to spread positivity.
“This is our first children’s book we did together and we’re so excited for the world to read Shady Baby,” Gabrielle and Dwyane said in a joint statement regarding their new book. “Inspired by our daughter, Kaavia James, we wanted to create a children’s book that not only had a little Black girl as the main character but that also reflects the global community we live in,” the celebrity couple shared.
“We hope to give the word ‘shady’ a more positive association and use it to represent one’s moral compass to do the right thing and stand up for themselves and others,” Gabrielle and Dwyane added. “It’s important that little Black girls and boys get to see themselves in these fairy tales and for children of other races to see us in leadership roles.”
Kaavia James has certainly dominated Instagram with her hilarious facial expressions. “Shady Baby” began as a nickname among family members for the little one and has morphed into a brand with a social media following of more than one million engaged adults. Kaavia is even beginning to take over her mother’s Instagram account with funny video clips that show her potty training and refusing solo hugs.
