Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Kaavia, is not necessarily for all the feels that come with hugs. The little one was recently filmed while denying her mom a hug.
Kaavia ran to be a part of the group hug her parents initiated between each other. “I’m hugging dad,” Gabrielle said loudly before seeing her daughter. The little one ran from wherever she was in the house to the kitchen where she discovered her parents trying to hug without her. Shady Baby was none too happy about what she saw and immediately demanded her mom hold her.
“I can’t hug dad,” Gabrielle asked her toddlers. As viewers soon learned, it wasn’t the act of hugging that upset Kaavia. The youngster was angry because no one thought to include her. “Group hug,” the youngster declared after garnering her mom’s attention. Gabrielle and her husband complied with their daughter’s wishes. Things became awkward, however, after Union asked for a “solo hug.”
The actress thought her daughter would be happy to give her mom a “solo” hug. Kaavia, after all, went to great lengths for inclusion in a “group hug.” Gabrielle was shocked to learn Kaav does not like “solo” hugs. The youngster quickly said “No” to the idea.
“Group hugs only,” Gabrielle said of the moment. “No solo hugging in this house,” the actress jokingly declared. “Swee,” one social media follower said after viewing the footage. “It’s the monochromatic fits for me,” another Instagram fan mused.
Kaavia James is certainly known for her “mood swings” that come out in the form of hilarious facial expressions. In fact, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade filmed a day at home with Kaavia James, which included several funny moments.
One video showed Kaav’s reaction to video clips of herself and others online. “Kaavia reactions are starlight,” one social media follower said after watching episode three of what is turning out to be a series. “This baby has mastered self-love.” another fan shared.
