Yaya Mayweather celebrated the impending birth of her baby boy on Thursday at her baby shower. The mom-to-be had her mom, Melissa Rene Brim, and her three siblings there to support her. Not in attendance at the blue, white, and gold themed affair was the 20-year-old’s dad, Floyd Mayweather, and her baby’s father, NBA Young Boy.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently spoke out about his daughter’s pregnancy during an appearance on Hollywood Unlocked: Uncensored.
“If that makes her happy, then we’re happy — me and her mother [Melissia Rene Brim] are happy,” Mayweather said of Yaya’s pregnancy. “What I try not to do is be in her personal business because once she’s no longer under my roof, then you know what? it’s between her and her better half.”
Shortly after her father’s interview, Yaya shared a photo on her Instagram showing off her baby bump. She captioned the photo “fat a*s..”
While this is Yaya’s first child, it will be NBA Young Boy’s sixth.
