On Instagram, Martin Lawrence’s ex-wife Shamicka posted a clip of her daughter singing and playing the guitar. In the caption, Shamicka celebrated her daughter’s musical talent, writing: “My baby girl Amara @ponyboiiimusic makes me so Proud. Amara Lawrence is Martin Lawrence’s third child. His first child is 24-year-old Jasmine Lawrence, who he had with his first ex-wife Pat Smith (née Southall), who is currently married to NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith. Martin’s second daughter is Amara’s elder sister, 19-year-old Iyanna Lawrence. Although both of Martin’s marriages ended in divorce after two years, Martin and his ex-wives got along with him well enough to co-parent their daughters.
On August 20, Amara celebrated her 18th birthday with her friends and family. Martin celebrated his daughter’s special day with an Instagram post.
