Congratulations to Ciara and Russell Wilson on the arrival of their baby boy! The celebrity couple welcomed their son, Win Harrison Wilson, on July 23, 2020.
Ciara commemorated her son’s birth in the best way by singing “The Birthday Song” to Win. The celebrity mom rendered an impromptu selection of the song while wearing a mask. “Happy Birthday WIN,” Ciara wrote to her son after giving birth. “Mommy and Daddy Love You,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. Ciara told her social media followers that her newborn son was a healthy “8lbs 1 oz” at birth.
Russell Wilson also announced the birth of his and Ciara’s son. The celebrity father uploaded a candid of him with his wife and baby in the delivery room. “Love you so much honey,” Ciara wrote to her husband. “We did it baby,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “So grateful for our baby boy. WIN is a blessing. He looks just like you. Daddy’s baby Mommy’s maybe.”
Ciara is one of many women who gave birth during the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent quarantine. It was just a few weeks ago that Russell Wilson expressed concern about his wife’s labor and delivery experience given hospital restrictions that prohibited visitors.
“We’ve been going to these doctor’s appointments and I can’t even go in the room sometimes just because of the whole process, so that’s been interesting,” Russell said during a recent interview with Kevin Hart. The celebrity father may not have been able to accompany his wife during her scheduled doctor’s visits. Russell, however, was present in the delivery room when Ciara gave birth to their newborn son.
Win is Ciara and Russell Wilson’s youngest child. The couple also has a daughter named Sienna who celebrated her third birthday in April. Ciara’s son, Future Zahir, is the recording artist’s oldest child. Stay tuned for more celebrity baby news!
