Summer Walker is now a mom of three! Over the new year’s holiday, the singer welcomed twins naturally via a 7-hour home birth, and she couldn’t be more proud of herself.
“I’m so proud of myself,” the 26-year-old wrote in a caption about her experience.
She continued in the caption. “Just sharing to inspire other women ’cause I know once you carry twins to almost 42 weeks with (one breech), people will try and steer you towards induction or c-section (which there’s nothing wrong with these. I just didn’t want it for myself).”

In an Instagram story, the “Unloyal” singer reflected on her motherhood goals saying that, “I really reached my goal of hella kids before 30. I’m so happy lol. Their all so sweet.”
Also in the original post about the birth of her two new bundles of joy, Walker was very thankful for her birthing team.
“…I couldn’t of done it without my spirit guides, Godparents, birth team, my elders, and the best Dad doula ever Larry, [LVRD Pharoh], lol. He was so hands-on the whole time. I was really impressed.”
One of the team that helped Walker bring her children into the world was birthing dula, R&B singer Erykah Badu. The 51-year-old singer shared a post with her daughter 17-year-old Puma, letting fans know that she was taking the teenager to shadow her on the special day.
“Peace peace .. MEET THE WELCOMING COMITTEE,” Badu wrote. “Mother – Daughter DOULA duty. Today I am training a very capable doula who is shadowing me while we assist a mommy in labor with twins. @pumacurry I’m so proud of u and I really really like you. A doula must Be like water. Follow your instincts. – mama badoula- (we are listening to alpha wave freaqs on noise cancellation).”
