One picture of Monica and Laiyah posing outside of Ali’s Cookies was especially cute. The little one held her mom’s hand while preparing to make her way down the stairs of the establishment. Laiyah, the photogenic type, was not so concerned with leaving Ali’s, however, that she could not stop for a picture. The little one was also quite the fashionista with a Burberry Fannie pack that matched her shoes.
“Moments Matter with your children,” Monica told her Instagram fans. “When we take our Girls Days the goal is to do something we’ve never done,” she explained. “Laiyah suggested skydiving. ‘Let’s jump from a Plane Mom.’ No thanks, beautiful that’s a father-daughter date.” We agree, Monica!

Laiyah and her mom were joined on their mother-daughter date by Tiny Harris and LeToya Luckett. Tiny was there to fulfill all of her god mom duties, while LeToya was the energetic stepmom.
Both Madison and Laiyah took several pictures together, one of which showed the girls smiling from ear to ear while holding up their ice cream cones. Is that cookies and cream, Madison?

It was just a few weeks ago that LeToya Luckett gushed about her stepdaughter during an interview with ESSENCE. “I call Madison my ‘daughter in love’ and I’m her ‘mommy in love,'” LeToya shared. “She’s a sweetheart and she’s very vocal about her feelings. We talk about everything, and [my husband] allows me the space.”
