Tyrese really misses his daughter. The actor has been sharing photos, collages, and video clips on Instagram ever since his touching monologue about what he has been going through with the custody of his daughter went live.

“I’m on my way to court and I’m just going to ask for y’all to pray for me and my daughter,” Tyrese said in a video message on Thursday. The celebrity father went on to address those who criticized his previous video in which he sobbed over the notion of not being able to be an involved parent. Many thought Tyrese was experiencing a breakdown on camera and advised him to calm down. “It’s very easy for you to judge somebody when your circumstances ain’t mine,” the actor said.

It’s been two months since Norma Mitchell presented allegations of child abuse that caused to courts to grant her a temporary restraining order against Tyrese. Norma also obtained a court order for her and Tyrese’s daughter, Shayla, that barred the celebrity father from having direct and indirect contact with the 10-year-old. Tyrese violated that order the other week by sending gifts to Shayla’s school and having an airplane fly a message of love over the educational institution. Norma and her legal advisor deemed the acts as nothing short of an attempt to influence Shayla’s pending testimony and took their claims to the courts.

Tyrese became very candid and raw with the situation in a video earlier this week. “Don’t take my baby,” the celebrity father said through tears. “This is all I got,” he added. “I’ve been away from my baby for two months. I just want my baby, and no one’s listening because no one’s in the courtroom.”
