Here is your morning dose of cuteness! Nick Young recently shared a picture of his daughter, Navi, with fans and she stole the hearts of many.
“She lookin like dad you better get ready,” the NBA star captioned. Thousands of fans gave Navi hearts on Instagram. “She is so beautiful,” one follower wrote. “That baby is pretty,” another commented.
Nick Young welcomed his daughter with ex-girlfriend Keonna Green in October. News of the NBA star’s expectancy came as a surprise since Nick was engaged to Iggy Azalea at the time of Green’s conception.
“It was last year, around September,” Keonna said this past summer of her reconnection with Nick. “We would take our son to Magic Mountain together. But sometimes Nick would say, ‘Oh, there’s too much traffic,’ and he’d just play with Nicholas in his room. We got caught up in the moment and it just happened.”
Keonna learned of her expectancy after seeking medical attention for back pain. “I was having extreme back pain very early in the pregnancy, so I went to the doctor, who said, ‘There’s nothing wrong with your back, but you’re pregnant.'” Telling Nick wasn’t easy for several reasons.
“With him being in a public relationship, he didn’t know how to handle it. We didn’t get into [how he would tell Azalea]. I felt it was his decision how to handle it.”
Navi is Nick Young and Keonna Green’s only daughter. The two also have a son named Nick Jr.
