Congratulations to Masika Kalysha and rapper Fetty Wap on the arrival of their daughter. Masika announced the birth of her little one on Tuesday.
“She’s here,” Kalysha tweeted. “I’ve never seen anything so perfect in my entire life. I’m so in love with you. I can’t believe she’s ours. Best day of my life @fettywap.” Fetty was able to make it just in the knick of time for the birth of his baby girl.
Masika expressed great anticipation just days before her daughter’s arrival. “The second I found out I was having you… My entire world changed,” Masika wrote on Instagram. “These past 9 months I’ve been so blessed to protect you as you grow and get ready to enter this world. It’s a cold world baby girl. But mommy and daddy will always keep you warm. I still can’t believe the miracle that occurs to create a life. But this my love is your official eviction notice. It’s time to give momma back her belly. I can’t wait to hold you… Any day now.”
The pregnancy journey has been a bit challenging for Masika who expressed frustration in Fetty Wap’s initial response to her expectancy in January. “I tried to demand him taking a paternity test,” she told Us Weekly. “He doesn’t want to take one. I asked him seven times, ‘Will you just volunteer and do it?’ He refuses.”
Although the road was rough, Masika and Fetty have managed to get past their differences and work together. This is their first child together.
