Dwight Howard and Royce Reed are involved in another parental dispute. This time the former Reality TV star claims that her son was abused by his father.
According to TheJasmineBrand, Dwight was under investigation for child abuse after whipping their son with a belt back in August. Reportedly, after the incident took place, Royce went to Child Services (in Orlando where she and her son reside) after seeing bruises and abrasions on Braylon’s legs.”
Dwight was questioned by authorities and cleared of any allegations, according to his representative. Reed however, told Instagram fans a different story.
“Let’s get the facts straight. The case was not closed and he was not cleared,” wrote Reed. “Whoever these reps are that are lying and trying to slander me, just know the gloves are off and I’m not the one to play with when it comes to my son.”
Dwight has since filed for full custody of his and Royce’s son, citing the former Reality TV star as an unfit parent. Braylon is Royce and Dwight’s only child together.
