Sydney Park, Lil’ P-Nut,and Zendaya were just a few of the young stars who attended the Sixth Annual Nickelodeon HALO Awards in New York City this past weekend.
Since 2009, the HALO Awards have recognized teens who work hard to make the world a better place. Over the years, honorees have gotten to hang out with the likes of Justin Bieber, Emma Stone, Tyra Banks, Josh Duhamel, Jessica Biel, David Beckham, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and many more celebs who applaud their amazing work and community service. From helping victims of a devastating tornado in Tuscaloosa, to combating bullying, to helping teens find their voices, and even building soccer fields around the world — HALO honorees prove that you don’t have to be adult to make a change. And what’s more, each honoree receives prize money in the form of a grant to help further their efforts!(Source)
