In a recent interview on The Big Tigger Morning Show, Real Housewife of Atlanta star Kenya Moore opened up about her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Marc Daly. The 53-year-old shared that Daly rarely visits their 5-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.
“There isn’t really any co-parenting because there really hasn’t been any visitation – not zero, but very few,” she carefully explained in her interview. “It’s up to Brooklyn’s dad to make an effort to see her, and it just hasn’t happened a lot in the last three years.”
“I’m a single mom.” she said, jokingly adding, “I know somebody out there trying to make me a two-time single mom. Where you at?”
After more than three years after Moore and Daly’s separation, the couple is officially divorced.
In a statement to People Magazine, Moore said, “After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce. I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most.”
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn,” the former Miss USA title holder concluded.
And Moore is unquestionably on a quest to be “the best mom” that she can be for her daughter. In November of last year, Moore shared video on social media of her daughter’s 5th pink birthday celebration that featured musical chairs, a castle bounce house, fake tattoos and a visit from everyone’s favorite Disney princess, Snow White herself.
In the post, Moore stated that, “It’s just you and me and I love you more than anything in the world! Everything I do is for you.”
Kenya Moore and Marc Daly were married in June of 2017 and welcomed Brooklyn in November of 2018. Despite attempts to save their marriage, the couple separated in 2019. Their divorce was legally finalized at the end of 2023.
