Storm Reid is not only loving being a college student, but she scored the best roommate that she could ask for…Natalia Bryant. Recently, the Euphoria star sat down with ET to talk about rooming with Natalia Bryant at USC and more!
For many first year students, the roommate situation can be challenging, but Reid told the popular entertainment outlet that her experience has been nothing less than “amazing.” And of course, the pair have already made plans to share space again as sophomores.
“We’re going to room together sophomore year, so it’s been exciting,” Reid said, adding, “That’s my homie. That’s my homie for real.”
In addition to beaming about her roommate, the talented eighteen-year-old talked to ET about the importance of having events like the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.
“I feel like erasure is still a big thing in the world and especially in Hollywood with women and furthermore with Black women,” she told ET. “So to have an event that represents us, celebrates us and I get to be on a red carpet and sit in a room full of Black women who have paved a way for me and have made it possible for me to stand right here, that’s incredible, so I’m just so glad and so thankful to be here.”
And many are thankful for Storm. What she may not quite realize is that she is already paving the way for others who are following in her footsteps as others have paved the way for her. Reid is not only an actress, but she is also a producer with her own production company, “A Seed & Wings,” and future filmmaker as well.
In addition to college and the Essence awards, Reid also talked to ET about the upcoming season of her hit HBO Max series, Euphoria.
“They won’t tell me a single thing,” the teen said about what to expect from season 3 of the show. “They’re keeping it close to the vest,” she explained.
Reid continued, “I hope it’s good. My hopes for season 3 is some hope, some light, some reconciliation with everything that happened, but [creator] Sam [Levinson] is brilliant and creative, so I’m sure it’ll be great.”
We cannot wait until season 3 of Euphoria hits the airwaves. We will definitely be watching!
