Congratulations to Damion Lee and wife Sydel Curry on the arrival of their baby boy. The celebrity couple welcomed their son on Friday (Nov. 26).
“Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee,” Sydel wrote online on Monday (Nov. 29) afternoon. “No words are enough to describe the bliss of having my sweet son here,” Curry shared with her social media fans. “We are in newborn bliss and soaking in every single moment.”
“He’s perfect,” Mary Gonsalves Kinney shared. “Congrats, mama,” the stylist wrote. “So happy for you my friend,” Dr. Christina of #HashtagTherapyIsCool said.
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee announced their expectancy of a child in June. The celebrity couple used IVF treatments in their pregnancy journey.
“While there is so much to this part of the journey, I wanted to share what it looked like for me,” Sydel told her social media supporters. The then-mommy-to-be also uploaded medications related to IVF treatment that she took during the process.
“I dealt with this in private (off social media) for a lot of reasons and thankful that I did because, whew, the hormones,” Curry shared with her fans. “It was hands down one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do, but it wasn’t impossible,” the celebrity declared. “I learned so much about myself and was able to recognize on a much deeper level how blessed I am with the support system in my corner. I would not have been able to do it without them.”
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee’s support system has been present in a very public manner since the days of their engagement. Some may remember Riley Curry, Ayesha and Steph Curry, helping her aunt Sydel choose the perfect wedding gown on Say Yes To The Dress. Many deemed Riley as the perfect wedding coordinator in training.
Daxon is Sydel and Damion Lee’s first child together. The celebrities celebrate their third wedding anniversary this year.
