Blue Ivy Carter dances like her aunt Solange, according to the youngster’s grandma. Tina Knowles recently shared a video clip that showed her oldest granddaughter feeling the groove at a party and compared Blue’s moves to something fans would see Solange do.
“This is Blue but I swear it looks like Solange dancing at this age,” Tina said of Blue’s lively dance segment. Blue moved every part of her body during the session and only stopped when told to “freeze” by the person in charge of the music.
“I love her,” Angela Rye said in response to Blue Ivy Carter’s now-viral dance video. “This is so cute,” the attorney added. Dozens agreed with one person saying, “The way she looked around to VERIFY that no one was on her level then went back to work. BABYYYYY! This is Bey’s child!”
Blue Ivy Carter has not gotten in as much quality time with her aunt Solange and grandma. Tina Knowles told the press last year that she was separated from her grandchildren for weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Up until about six weeks ago, I was seeing them every day because we all got tested and we weren’t in contact with anyone, so I got to go over there every day,” Tina said during an interview last year. “So when they left it was like withdrawal,” Knowles shared.
“My oldest granddaughter told her mom, ‘Grandma is hugging us too much,’ when I first went around them,” Tina told the press. “Because you just wanna touch ’em and you wanna hug ’em, so I’m going through that.”
Tina, Beyonce, and Solange were able to come together to celebrate Solange’s son Julez Smith’s sixteenth birthday during the latter part of 2020. Bey gave her nephew an extravagant party at her Bel-Air mansion that featured a beautiful cake and close family members.
Julez is Tina Knowles’ oldest grandchild. The fashion designer has four grandchildren in all.
