Comedian Kountry Wayne says he pays a hefty amount in child support for his 10 children.
During a recent appearance on the Dropouts podcast with Zach Justice, Wayne shared that he shells out approximately $200,000 every month in support to his five baby mamas.
However, the comedian made it clear that the amount isn’t something he’s required to pay.
“I don’t have to pay that much. That’s what I choose to pay,” he explained.
The conversation quickly turned humorous when Justice joked that having a child with Wayne seemed to come with a pretty good paycheck.
“My baby mamas should definitely invest in the stock market,” Wayne quipped.
Wayne also opened up about what happened when he recently got all 10 of his children together in one place.
“Seeing them all at one time, it’s like, hold up, all those kids belong to me?” he joked.
When Justice asked whether he had taken paternity tests to confirm that all the children were his, Wayne admitted that he had tested quite a few of them.
“I did a test on a lot, though,” he said.
The comedian even joked about questioning paternity when he noticed how tall some of his sons had gotten.
“My sons got real tall. I was like, y’all too tall, man.”
Wayne became a father at 17 and had seven children by the time he was 22. In a March interview with Fox News Digital, he spoke about how becoming a father changed him.
“Fatherhood changed me from the day I had my first child,” he said. “I didn’t play with no opportunity.”
In a March interview with the Los Angeles Times, the comedian credited his unique family situation with helping him stand out in the entertainment industry.
“If it wasn’t for those kids, I don’t think I’d stand out as much as I am,” he said.
When asked which of his children was the funniest, Wayne singled out his daughter Honest.
“Honest is the funniest person in my life,” he said.
Wayne, who sometimes features Honest in his comedy skits, recalled how she once asked whether he loved all his children equally. After he assured her that he did, she took him to a photo in his man cave and questioned why some of her siblings were missing.
His latest stand-up special, Nostalgia, is currently streaming on Prime Video.
