NBA star Chris Paul of the Oklahoma City Thunder and his wife Jada recently celebrated their daughter Camryn Paul’s 8th birthday.
Jada Paul took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s special day. She posted pictures of Camryn’s teepee-themed birthday party, which was a fun-filled sleepover with a few of Camryn’s friends which included Zhuri James, the daughter of NBA great LeBron James, who is a close friend to Chris Paul. Camryn’s party featured a pink party bus, and an outdoor projector, where Camryn and her friends watched Disney movies. There was also a beautiful outdoor tent for the girls to sleep in. Inside the house, there was a purple banner with teepees on it and a table loaded with all kinds of colorful and sweet treats for the girls to eat.
Jada Paul captioned the post: “We’ve spent the past 24+ hours celebrating Cam Bam and I still can’t believe she’s 8 YEARS OLD! COVID and Quarantine have definitely made it difficult to celebrate the way we’re used to and maybe it’s not all so bad. We’ve been forced to find creative ways to make moments special and this beautiful, creative, artistic, most sweetest little lady deserved all the love she got this weekend! The only thing missing was daddy but he was a part of the special moments as much as possible! WE LOVE YOU PRINCESS!.”
Of course, a child’s birthday party isn’t complete without a cake, and Jada showed off the beautiful cake, which featured a cute little figurine of Camryn in a teepee and a blindfold with eyes. It also had no. 8 and Camryn’s name on it. The post also features elaborately designed birthday cakes from Camryn’s seven previous birthdays. The post was captioned: “The EVOLUTION of Camryn’s birthday cakes! She LOVES cake and we’ve had some really amazing ones over the years!! I don’t remember who made the 1st birthday/smash cake 🥴 but I was delicious too lol.”
Unfortunately, Chris Paul wasn’t there at his daughter’s party, as he is currently in the NBA’s bubble in Orlando, Florida as the Thunder are set to play his former team, the Houston Rockets, in Game 1 of their best-of-7 series of the 2020 NBA Playoffs on Tuesday, August 18. However, Paul didn’t forget to wish his dear daughter a happy birthday, writing on Instagram: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!!!! Already 8 years old 🤦🏾♂️…starting to get a lil too old for Daddy’s liking 😅🤷🏾♂️🤣 LOVE YOU lil mama and I can’t wait to get home and squeeze you tight!! ❤️❤️❤️ @instacam_816.”
