Chris Brown’s ex Diamond Brown is seeking more financial support for their 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown, as their custody battle heats up.
In a court declaration obtained by TMZ, the influencer says she earns about $1,500 a month from social media and her work as an esthetician.
She estimates that Chris brings in between $5.5 million and $7.3 million a month, and she argues that the massive gap in their incomes should be taken into account when determining child support.
Diamond lists her current monthly expenses at roughly $8,400. She also says Chris currently pays her rent.
Her filing includes a proposed monthly budget of more than $45,000, including $15,000 for rent, $2,250 for food, and additional expenses for childcare, clothing, extracurricular activities, and gifts.
Brown maintains that she is not asking to live the exact same lifestyle as the Grammy winner, but she is seeking “basic adequacy to meet the child’s needs.”
She also accuses Chris of refusing to turn over financial records needed to determine an appropriate amount of support, claiming he has stalled discovery efforts and tried to run her out of money.
The declaration also includes allegations about Chris’ behavior since their relationship ended about two years ago. Diamond describes an incident at a birthday party in which he allegedly became extremely angry with her in front of Lovely, calling his conduct “harmful and especially inappropriate.”
She further alleges that Chris has harassed her over relationships she has had since their breakup and threatened men she has dated. She says the behavior has made it difficult for her to move on with her life.
Chris denies the harassment allegations. His attorney disputed the claims and asked Diamond’s legal team to provide specific incidents for him to address.
The ongoing custody case began in April, when Diamond filed a paternity-related petition seeking legal and physical custody of Lovely, along with proposed visitation for Chris.
He later opposed the request and asked the court for joint legal and physical custody instead. The filing also claims that despite seeking joint custody, Chris has not asked to see Lovely in the past six to seven months.
Lovely was born on Jan. 7, 2022, and has lived with Diamond since birth.
