Usher’s youngest son, Sire Castrello Raymond, is officially 5!
The singer and his wife, music executive Jenn Goicoechea, celebrated their son’s birthday on Tuesday, Sept. 29, with sweet Instagram tributes.
Usher shared photos from the joint party Sire recently had with his big sister, Sovereign Bo, who turned 6 on Sept. 24. One shot shows the birthday boy posing with his parents and Sovereign in front of giant Minecraft characters, blocks and sword props.
“Happy 5th Birthday Sire!!” Usher captioned the post.
Jenn posted a separate carousel showcasing Sire over the years and penned a sweet message alongside the snapshots.
“You’re 5 already! My SON Shine,” she began.
“Serious Sire, you’re my constant reminder to live life with intention, but always a little on the edge. Fearless and full of energy… SIRE!”
She continued, “My twin in every way. Keep shining, keep exploring, and keep reminding me that life is meant to be LIVED,” she wrote. “The BIG 5! I love you, Sire.”
Sire was born on Sept. 29, 2021, just over a year after Usher and Jenn welcomed Sovereign on Sept. 24, 2020. With their birthdays falling only five days apart, the siblings celebrated together ahead of their birthdays.
Usher has previously spoken about the special bond he shares with his youngest son. During a 2022 interview, he opened up about his relationship with Sire.
“Me and him have a really cool relationship,” Usher said. “He’s different than any of my other kids. I’ve managed to have a little code going with him when I talk to him and how we speak to each other. He makes me mush…. My new little boy, he’s something special.”
Usher and Jenn share Sire and Sovereign, while the singer is also dad to older sons Usher “Cinco” Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond with ex-wife Tameka Foster.
