Joie Chavis and NFL star Trevon Diggs celebrated at their baby shower over the weekend, looking happy and together despite a recent public split.
The pair enjoyed a lemone-themed celebration surrounded by their friends and family, including Joies two kids from previous relationships.
Chavis, glowing in a pink dress that showcased her baby bump, received a watch from Diggs during the event, which earned him a big kiss from her.
Two weeks ago, Chavis announced their split on Instagram. The 35-year-old influencer and entrepreneur confirmed the breakup after posting a video from her baby sprinkle. Responding to a fan’s question about her relationship status with Diggs, she replied, “No, we aren’t. I think that’s obvious.”
Chavis first shared her pregnancy news in March via Instagram, revealing her baby bump with a video set to Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work.”
She later announced the baby’s gender by cutting into a pink-filled cake, indicating they are expecting a girl.
Initially, Chavis kept the father’s identity private, but she later confirmed in a YouTube video that Trevon Diggs is the father. In the video, she humorously recounted Diggs initially thinking they were having a boy.
“I know Trey thought it was a boy ’cause I showed him the pictures and he was like, ‘Yeah, look at my son…..’, Joie explained.
She also expressed their excitement, saying, “We’re super excited for baby girl and I don’t know it’s like I’m feeling like I don’t want to have any more kids after this, but I kind of want to try for one more like a boy or a girl. I don’t know.”
Joie Chavis is already a mother to two children: 13-year-old daughter Shai Moss with rapper Bow Wow and 5-year-old son Hendrix Wilburn with rapper Future.
