Khloe Kardashian is not alone when it comes to her, “Cetaphobia,” or fear of whales. There are thousands of people around the world who share the same phobia. Although those individuals can sympathize with the 39-year-old mother, her children are another story.
Kardashian has recently shared that her kids are continuing to make fun of her whale phobia.
The reality star said that her children leave any and everything whale-related around the house for her to find. In her Instagram stories, the mother-of-two shared an image of a special whale that was left for her.
She wrote across the hand-drawn image, “The kids think this is funny…It’s not.”
The second slide of Kardashian’s stories shows a children’s whale book, entitled, “I’m a Humpback Whale,” that was “conveniently” left on the table under homework and coloring pages.
In the story Kardashian explains, “So, my kids are asleep, I’m going through my daughter’s homework that came in, and then she like, checks these books out from the library, I swear, just to mess with me,” the reality star then reveals the book.
Kardashian continued, attempting to be a trouper and actually make it past the front cover. As she was thumbing through and looking at the other pages, she quickly closes the books exclaiming, “Why? Why? I can’t even look at this.”
In the season four premiere of The Kardashians, the Good American co-founder admitted in a confessional moment that her daughter unquestionably thinks that teasing her mother about her fear of whales is amusing.
“She draws me photos of whales just to f— with me and she thinks it’s so funny.” However, whales are not the only things in the sea that Kardashian is afraid of. The Hulu reality star also has a fear of Manta Rays.
Kardashian shares her two children, six-year-old True and 21-month-old Tatum, with NBA star Tristan Thompson.
