It has been seven years since the last Despicable Me movie. Well, fans of Gru and his Minions should get ready to rejoice as the franchise is headed back to the big screen with the upcoming release of Despicable Me 4. Keep reading and get ready to take a first look at the action right here and now!
According to JustJaredJr.com, Illumination has done it once again as “Gru, the supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent,” and his Minions will delight audiences worldwide. And of course, they are including a few additions to the action-packed mayhem, including Gru Jr., who is proving that he may need more than a few time-outs in the beginning.
“In the upcoming fourth film, Gru returns and starts a new chapter, including welcoming a new member of the family, and facing a new nemesis, which causes Gru and his family to go on the run.”
Per JustJaredJr.com, Steve Carrell will return to voice the iconic role of Gru. Kristen Wiig will return to voice Lucy. Miranda Cosgrove returns as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, Pierre Coffin as the Minions, and Steven Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom.
The new voice cast includes Will Ferrell as Gru’s new nemesis Maxime Le Mal, Sofia Vergara as his girlfriend Valentina, and Madison Polan taking over in the role as Agnes. Additionally, Joey King, Chloe Fineman, Stephen Colbert will also lend their voices to the upcoming film, joining the franchise.
