On January 6, Halle Bailey announced the birth of her newborn son, Halo, to the world. Fast-forward a few days later, and the not even one-month-old has an official Instagram page that was launched by his father, DDG.
The page only has one post so far and already has an impressive number of followers at 46.8K and counting.
DDG’s first post is an image of baby Halo in an adorable NIKE track suit. The 26-year-old YouTuber and rapper captioned the post, “went all black nike tech today for doctor check ups… nun too crazy.”
Well, of course, fans of the new family-of-three are definitely excited to be on “the flyest baby alive’s” social media journey. Some more so than others are still questioning why they kept the pregnancy secret. And with that, without further ado, to the comments!
One social media user wrote, “So yall lied about the pregnancy, hid the baby…. Just to turn around and make a instagram page!? ….. make it make sense.”
Another posted speaking on DDG’s excitement to be a first-time father, “He’s so happy to be a daddy ! If yall don’t understand that ! That man couldn’t wait to tell the world he was so happy.”
“Y’all did all the hiding her pregnancy just for y’all to make him IG page a week after he was born,” one Instagram user quipped, following her comment with a series of laughing emoji’s.
“Please let the baby get 3 months before posting him unless it’s to family,” commented one user.
Another said, “creating a space for people that you know hate you to hate on your baby is crazy (saying this as a fan).”
Halo’s face is blurred out for privacy. And, fans shouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon as DDG himself commented on the couple’s plans to share their baby’s image in a vlog.
“I don’t plan on showing his face. She doesn’t plan on showing his face. It’s just too priceless,” he explained. “He’s great looking … Think of him as being the best features of us possible — that’s what he looks like. He’s a beautiful baby.”
