“It’s good. It’s fun. Well not fun, but like, I think I’m in a good situation with her as a co-parent,” the 36-year-old rapper told Alex Cooper on the podcast. “Especially through time. Things have just eased up and become a lot more enjoyable and just regular of a process.”

“All the irregular s— has been worked out and we’re past everything that I think would cause people to be dysfunctional,” he continued. “So at this point, it’s way easier to just run things smoothly than it is for it not to be smooth.”

Earlier this month, 40-year-old actress/model/influencer/rapper Amber Rose appeared on the Tamron Hall Show, sharing the same sentiments about co-parenting with her ex-husband.

Rose told the 53-year-old talk show host that, “I think that me and Wiz are so, best friends now, that — we’re so far past being in love that I can say that now, right? It’s not like anything that we would circle back to or anything. We’re just friends and co-parents.”

As you can tell, viewers of the podcast got the opportunity to learn a lot about the “Black & Yellow” rapper in terms of his parenting journey. Also on the episode, Khalifa also discussed how he shows up to his son’s parent/teacher conferences high.

“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” Khalifa said. He continued, “They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.”

Khalifa went to tell Cooper in the interview that going to his son’s school under the influence gives the school’s faculty and staff the opportunity to “connect with the real” Wiz Khalifa and not “a fake version” because “That’s not how I’m going to be living my life ever.”

According to fatherhood.gov, “Successful co-parenting can help parents ensure that they maintain strong relationships with their children, which has been linked to decreased behavior issues and increased self-esteem.”

It is really good to see Rose and Khalifa complimenting each other as they embark upon a successful co-parenting relationship for the well-being of Sebastian.
