During her recent appearance on the Tamron Hall show, Amber Rose shared insights into her co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa.
“I think that me and Wiz are so, best friends now, that — we’re so far past being in love that I can say that now, right? It’s not like anything that we would circle back to or anything. We’re just friends and co-parents,” Rose shared.
The conversation delved into Rose’s previous revelation on the No Jumper Podcast, where she admitted to crying for three years straight after her breakup with Wiz Khalifa. “Wiz was the love of my life. I used to just sit in the shower and be like, ‘F—,’” she said at the time.
Rose defended her decision to be open about her emotional struggles, emphasizing the importance of honesty, even in the public eye.
“Well usually, celebrities won’t do that ‘cause they don’t want the whole internet to say something. And for me, I just need to be honest,” Rose told Hall.
The discussion then turned to the lessons Rose learned from her past heartbreak.
Responding with humor, she quipped, “Never love again, and then I did, and the same thing happened,” adding a playful touch to the serious topic.
As Hall probed for a deeper lesson, Rose shifted the focus to her current priorities, expressing love for herself and her children.
“Right now, I love myself. I love my kids. I’m not thinking about no man, Tamron,” Rose said. “Not right now.”
“Having my own schedule. Not worrying about what anyone else is doing. Waiting for a text message. Not having to send a good night text when I don’t feel like it. Not worrying about what they ate today or what they didn’t eat — I don’t have time! I’m worrying about what I wanna eat,”
Amber Rose shares her 10-year-old son, Sebastian “Bash” Thomaz, with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, and her 4-year-old son, Slash Electric Alexander, with ex-boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.
