Katt Williams left fans in shock on the latest episode of Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, which aired on Wednesday.

During his explosive interview, the comedian revealed that he is a father of 10 kids, not 8 as many believed.

“I got 5 daughters, I got five sons,” he shared with Shannon Sharpe.

When questioned by Sharpe about why he has adopted 7 kids, Katt responded, “My whole life, I wanted to be God’s friend.”

Reflecting on his past, he shared that his decision to adopt stemmed from a desire to give back, especially considering his own challenging upbringing. At the age of 13, Williams emancipated from his parents  and hitchhiked to Florida. He was homeless for some years before making a breakthrough in Hollywood with the film “Friday After Next.”

After achieving fame, Katt Williams stayed true to his promise of sharing his wealth by adopting multiple children. He reportedly has one biological son named Micah, and adopted Micah’s half-siblings to shield them from the foster care system.

While Williams did his best to raise his kids, he admitted that he wasn’t always the best role model.

“I didnt do good by leading by example, but behind the scenes, thats never what i was pushing.They understood that because of my stance, there was a certain thing that would come my way,” he said.

He continued, “And so accountability and responsibility is part of what you are teaching. Even if you are doing the greatest thing in the world, there is thing called no good deed goes unpunished.”

In reflecting on his parenting philosophy, Katt Williams said, “Basically in raising kids, you just trying to give them a better manual and an outline of how life works than your parents gave you.
