“They’ve had their passport since birth. They’ve been to Paris, they’ve been to London, they’ve been to Cuba,” Parks shared with People. “Dylan loves all Asian countries. That’s his big thing. My eldest son Ayden loves Paris because he thinks he can speak French well,” Parks teased.
For his 13th birthday, Phaedra took Ayden on a special trip to Paris as a “continued birthday celebration”.
Beyond the glitz and glamour of international adventures, Phaedra Parks is a lloving mother with a clear set of rules for her boys. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, she shared her three fundamental parenting principles: respect, responsibility, and gratitude.
“I have three rules for my sons,” Parks explained. “Be respectful of adults, yes and no ma’am all the time. My second rule is clean up behind yourself. And the last thing is be grateful.”
This fair but firm approach to parenting reflects Phaedra’s commitment to instilling values that extend beyond their privileged lifestyle.
“I definitely will take their phone away and follow through with that because I worked too hard for them not to appreciate. Of course, we have a housekeeper,” she laughs, “but I want them to know!”
