Phaedra Parks is an established attorney who knows how to thrive financially on multiple fronts. Well, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is making sure that her children become financial sharks as well. Recently, the 49-year-old bought her son Ayden Nida investment property for his thirteenth birthday.

“Of course he’s 13 now, so he’s entering true adolescence,” Parks said of her eldest son in a recent interview with Essence Magazine. “But I tried to really do a lot of elements from the first birthday party.”
And a blow-out birthday party did she give the new teenager because this was the first party that she could through since COVID.
“During COVID, you really couldn’t have parties like that because it wasn’t safe,” the attorney added. “So now that the world’s opened back up, I just wanted him to have a huge blowout party.”
And a “blowout party” it was! Parks enlisted celebrity planner Tori Williams and invited 120 guests to the soiree. The event featured a trumpet player, stilt walkers, fire dancers, bubbling mocktails for the kiddos, carnival games, food trucks with any and everything that a teenager would want to consume. Let’s not leave out, the photo booth, a Gen Z party would not be complete without one.
Parks wanted to ensure that Ayden got a gift that would keep on giving in order to continue to foster his love for “investments and money.”
“I gave him a piece of investment property, because he loves investments and money,” Parks said to the popular entertainment news outlet. “He wanted a dirt bike, [but I thought], ‘Let me get you something that you won’t kill yourself [on]. Let me get you something that’s going to be useful.’”
In addition to 13-year-old Ayden, Parkes is also mother to 10-year-old Dylan, who also made his double-digit milestone birthday recently. The self-proclaimed Southern-Belle shares her boys with ex-husband Apollo Nida.
