JEEZY SAYS JEANNIE MAI IS ACTING AS A ‘GATEKEEPER’ OF THEIR DAUGHTER

Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, has filed court documents accusing his estranged wife Jeannie Mai of acting as a “gatekeeper” of their one-year-old daughter, Monaco.

Despite attempts to address custodial arrangements informally, Jeezy claims that the lack of consistency and stability in the parenting time schedule is causing unnecessary stress for the toddler.

In the legal motion, Jeezy expressed concerns about the “tension and confusion” Monaco is experiencing due to the current arrangement.

Although he acknowledged that Mai’s actions may not be malicious, he contended that she has acted as a gatekeeper.

“[Mai’s] interference with [Jeezy’s] relationship with the Child, again, while not generated from or with malicious intent, is nevertheless, causing confusion and tension between the parties and is working to stifle the development of Petitioner’s relationship with the Child,” the documents stated.

Young Jeezy, real name Jay Wayne Jenkins, underscored the need to establish temporary legal and physical custody arrangement that aligns with the child’s best interests.

The musician filed for divorce from the 44-year-old former “Real” co-host in September, seeking joint legal custody of their daughter. The couple had been married for two years before deciding to part ways. Following news of the divorce, sources revealed that Mai was devastated and expressed a desire to restore her family unit.

A source told Page Six that the “Raid the Cage” co-host was “devastated” that her marriage was over and wanted her “family unit back.”

The source added, “She is devastated that Jeezy filed for divorce.”
