Mariah Carey had the support of Kim Kardashian, Khloè Kardashian, and their kids at her “Merry Christmas One And All!” tour stop in Los Angeles. The ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ singer performed at the Hollywood Bowl while the Kardashians cheered from the crowd.
Kim and her daughters, North and Chicago, sat alongside Khloè and her daughter, True, in the stands. Dream Kardashian, North and True’s cousin, was also in attendance at the concert.
Khloè took to Instagram after the event with pictures from backstage where the family spent time with Mariah and her daughter, Monroe Cannon.
“The Queen of Christmas,” Khloè exclaimed online. “For the little girls’ very FIRST concert ever, we went to see the Queen herself, @mariahcarey,” the celebrity mom told her social media fans. “We all had the best time, creating the most magical memories,” Khloè said of the occasion. “Thank you Mommy for taking all of us,” the Good American owner wrote to her mom, Kris Jenner, who supplied tickets to the family.
Mariah Carey’s tour kicked off with a blast. The singer’s daughter and son have taken the stage to perform alongside their mom during several stops. Friday night’s show at the Hollywood Bowl was extra special as Monroe took the stage without her brother for a mother-daughter duet to remember.
Like Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian carries the spirit of passing on legacy to her kids as well. The entrepreneur recently shared with GQ magazine the lessons her late father, Robert Kardashian, taught her.
“My dad had me sign a contract for everything,” Kim shared. “When I got a car, I needed to have it washed once a week, make sure that it had enough gas and that I didn’t run it into the ground,” she revealed. “It was a gift he gave me at 16, but I had responsibilities.”
Rob financially helped his daughter with business ventures when she was a teen but not without strings attached. “I’d work at my job and give him my paycheck,” the businesswoman reminisced when speaking of the online clothing business she launched while also working a traditional job.
Kim’s kids enjoy a life of luxury. Still, the celebrity mom strives to give them a sense of normalcy.
“I try to have my kids be as normal as possible and live in a neighborhood where they can ride bikes to their cousins’ houses,” Kardashian shared with GQ. “I understand that it is not a normal life,” she admitted. “We’re never going to have a normal family life no matter what. As a parent, I want to protect them as much as I can.”
