NICK CANNON AND TWINS, MONROE AND MOROCCAN, SHUT DOWN WATER PARK

"Summer Family Fun"

It was a takeover that included Monroe and Moroccan at the water park with their dad, Nick Cannon, this past weekend. The twins had a blast as the only guests at the attraction.

Nick bought out the waterpark for a day so his oldest kids could enjoy every element of the getaway without interruption. “Waterpark to ourselves,” Nick shared with his social media fans. “It’s the Roc and Roe Takeover,” the celebrity father exclaimed.

Nick shared video clips of Monroe and Moroccan hanging out in various swimming pools. The youngsters also enjoyed a few slides. “Nice,” one fan said of the outing. “Summer family fun.” Another of Nick’s Instagram followers wrote, “Such a great dad.”

In all, Nick Cannon fathers eight kids. Monroe and Moroccan are the entertainer’s children with Mariah Carey. Nick and Miah were married for eight years before ending their union in 2016. Cannon went on to have six children with four other women after finalizing his divorce.

“I’ve lived my life in the public eye in a way where it’s very authentic,” Nick recently said during an interview with Men’s Health. “I kind of put it all out there,” the celebrity father added. “All my emotions, all my understanding or the lack thereof, as vulnerable as I could be—I’m just like, ‘Look, I’m trying to figure it out.'”

Putting his life “out there” has come at the price of immense scrutiny. Many have criticized Nick for having kids with so many women. Some have even accused him of being a deadbeat father, which is an allegation that Nick and all the mothers of his children consistently deny.

“Contrary to popular belief, I’m probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be,” Cannon shared of his involved parenting approach to raising his kids. “If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff,” Nick added.

“When I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like making sure I pick ’em up. All of those things, making sure [I’m there for] all extracurricular activities. I’m involved in everything from coaching to having guitar lessons with my daughter every week.”

Monroe and Moroccan celebrated their eleventh birthdays in April.
