Congratulations are in order for Supermodel, Chanel Iman, and NFL star Davon Godchaux. Back in September, the couple welcomed to the world their first child together. And now, the proud parents are sharing a few first photos of their newborn daughter, Capri Summer Godchaux.
“One of the greatest gift in life is bringing you into this world👼🏽 We love you so much Capri ❤️” The now mother of three daughters captioned a carousel of images.
This is the third daughter for Chanel Iman, who is already mother to daughters Cassie,3, and Cali,4, from her previous marriage to New York Giants wide receiver, Sterling Shepard.
Meanwhile, Davon Godchaux has a seven-year-old son, Davon Godchaux II, from a previous relationship.
In May of this year, Godchaux proposed to Iman taking their relationship to the next level. The couple went officially public with their relationship in April of 2022.
Iman excitedly shared the news with her 3.6M Instagram followers. She captioned a carousel of images saying, “The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go. Capri , Italy.”
Godchaux shared the exciting news on his on official social media, saying “he was nervous” to pop the question.
“First of all, I can’t even lie I was nervous as hell and I never thought I’ll be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life! Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spend this moment with no one else by my side!”
He continued, “From the moment we met I knew it was something about you and how much you value having a FAMILY that was really important to me! We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiancĂ©, My everything!! Soon to be my wife!.”
The New England Patriots defensive tackle concluded his post by saying, “What does not kill us only makes us stronger!!”
