Erica and Safire matched in apparel. The LHHATL star wore a white dress fit for summer while her daughter rocked polka dotted attire. “I will teach my daughter how to love,” Erica told her social media fans. “But most important[ly], how to stop,” she continued. “They never teach you how to stop.”

Erica Mena’s love for her children’s father was on full display throughout their marriage, thanks to Reality TV. In particular, Mena and Safaree’s marital woes were the subject of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta last year.

“I’ve had some faults in my marriage,” Erica admitted when delving into her and Safaree’s divorce during last season’s reunion. “But, at the same time, I’ve also swept so much under the rug,” Mena added. “And I think that’s why I got taken advantage of. Because for the first time I thought I was safe,” Erica shared.

Safaree and Erica Mena began experiencing marital issues shortly after welcoming their daughter. The two decided to work on their union but ultimately moved for marriage dissolution after Safaree reportedly abandoned his wife while she was heavily pregnant with their son.

“I was in the hospital bed with this man’s son. That man didn’t care if I made it through that pregnancy,” Mena shared during last season’s LHHATL reunion. “That man didn’t care if I made it through that labor,” Erica revealed.

“Like, literally, I couldn’t get out of bed,” the Reality TV star told her friends and the show’s viewers. “There were days I could not eat, but at the same time, I had to face my kids and act like everything is okay because I’m the only one that feeds them on a day-to-day basis. I had to drag myself out of that dark place.”

Safaree and Erica Mena celebrated their son’s second birthday last month. Safire Majesty turned three years old in February.
