Applications for the 2024 Disney Dreamers Academy are now open for filing! Individuals between the ages of 13 and 18 are encouraged to apply for a spot in the life-changing experience.

Pastor Mike Jr. announced the application opening date during ESSENCE Fest. “Inspiring others is my passion, and it is also the core of Disney Dreamers Academy, which is why I’m so proud to affiliate myself with this program,” Pastor Mike said on Sunday (Jul. 2).

“I’ve seen how passionate these students are and I would encourage all students to apply or nominate a fellow Disney Dreamer for this once-in-a-lifetime transformative event,” the Gospel recording artist shared.

Disney Dreamers Academy is an intensive mentorship program offered to 100 students from various parts of the country. Many who have gone through the academy choose careers in the industries they learn about while at Disney World for the four-day experience.

“We’re seeking the next generation of big dreamers to bring to Walt Disney World for the 17th year of this life-changing program,” Disney Signature Experiences vice president Tracey D. Powell shared in a statement regarding the 2024 Disney Dreamers Academy.

This year’s Dreamers Academy was nothing short of fantastic as Halle Bailey and H.E.R. surprised the students with appearances. H.E.R. even gifted dreamers who chose to learn more about music with guitars. The Beauty and the Beast star autographed the instruments and spent quality time with the lucky students.

The competition for a spot in the Disney Dreamers Academy is significant. Still, Tracey D. Powell encourages all those interested in the program to apply.

“Any teen in your life who aspires to achieve their goals should apply,” Powell shared in a statement. “You never know where it could take them,” the Disney executive exclaimed.
