Rihanna is celebrating five years of Savage x Fenty. The recording artist took to Instagram on Thursday (May 11) to mark the milestone with pictures that showed off her baby bump.
“It’s giving … call HR,” Rihanna said of her edgy outfit in the photos. The pregnant star wore undergarments from her line while showing off her protruding stomach.
“It’s giving body,” Yung Miami said in the comments section of the post. “Who needs copies when you da (sic) boss,” wrote RiRi’s Savage x Fenty brand.
Rihanna debuted her lingerie line on May 11, 2018. The recording artist aimed to think outside the box from the start and continues to push the envelope when it comes to undergarments and diversity.
“I am a savage so everything I do is gonna be savage,” Rihanna shared with ELLE magazine while promoting her brand five years ago. “Savage is not about looking sexy, it’s not about the product—it’s all about you,” the recording artist continued.
“It’s all about how you feel,” Rihanna said. “You cannot fake sexy, what you need to do is find it. Clear all that negative sh*t out, get to your sexy, and own it—that sh*t is yours.”
Rihanna certainly owned the moment during her SuperBowl performance earlier this year. The singer debuted her baby bump in front of millions of sports fans.
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world,” Rihanna recently shared with Vogue. “You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.”
Many were pleasantly surprised to see the superstar’s protruding stomach. Some even claimed Rihanna’s announcement was confirmation of their speculations.
Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, are expecting their baby to arrive in the coming months. The little one will make them parents for the second time. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son, RZA, celebrates his first birthday on Saturday (May 13).
