Serena Williams is showing off her baby bump. The retired tennis champion and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, shared new pictures that featured her showing off her protruding stomach.
“Planning on being stylish this time around,” Serena told her social media fans. “You are always on point,” one supporter shared in reference to Serena’s outfit. “So extremely happy for you both,” another Instagram follower said. “Wishing nothing but a great pregnancy and [a] healthy baby boy.”
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have not announced the gender of their unborn child. The celebrity couple did, however, reveal the family’s expansion on Monday (May 1). Serena and Alexis shared candids that showcased the attire they wore to Met Gala 2023. The celebrity parents announced their expectancy of baby number two in the captions of their social media posts.

“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the three of us to the Met Gala,” Serena shared. Alexis made their expectancy of a child more clear by writing, “Mama and Papa love this parenting this so we’re back at it. And Alexis Olympia is going to be the best big sister. She’s been asking and praying for this for a minute.”
Serena Williams expressed her desire to have another child last year. The star athlete revealed that much of her decision to retire from tennis was rooted in her daughter asking for a younger sibling. Williams told her supporters that she did not want to play tennis professionally while pregnant as she did in 2017.
“I’ve literally given my whole life to tennis, and it’s time for me to give my life to something else,” Serena shared during a recent interview with Gayle King of CBS Mornings.
“I feel relief when I look at the court,” Serena continued. “I’m so happy I don’t have to train for two hours a day.”
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are expecting their second child to arrive later this year.
