Peyton Z Basnight has quite a list of accomplishments already to date on her resume. She’s an actress, content creator, singer, songwriter, and author who, no matter what, finds time to give back to her community through altruistic service. Recently, the new star of Disney’s Saturdays sat down with JustJaredJr.com to share a few fun facts for everyone to get to know her better. Check out these 10 fun facts about Peyton that will make you add her to your favorite up-and-coming list immediately.

In addition to English, Peyton speaks a little bit of three more languages.

I can speak a little Spanish, French, and Japanese.

As mentioned above, Peyton is also a singer/songwriter.

Peyton loves her tea green.

There’s one more skill that Peyton can add to her professional resume.

I was a dancer for 9 years.

In the new Disney series, Peyton portrays Ari, one of the main character’s, Paris Johnson’s, best friends.

“I feel like there is a side of me that is so bubbly and so energetic and so positive, and I love being able to play her all the time,” Peyton told Pop Culture in a recent interview about her character. “I love being able to really dive deep into that mindset and my own personal life. So playing that side of Ari and just being happy and being in my own world and having a sense of confidence and having the sense that no matter what anybody thinks, I’m going to do what I want to do and what makes me happy. I really love that, and I think that that’s a mindset that most people should have and that I should have more. I should have the confidence in myself that Ari has.”

In addition to Peyton, Saturdays stars Danielle Jalade (Paris Johnson), Daria Johns (Simone Samson), Golden Brooks (Deb Johnson), Omar Gooding (Cal Johnson), Jermaine Harris (London Johnson), and Tim Johnson Jr. (Derek “D-Rok”).
