Montana Yao and Malik Beasley were in celebration mode this past weekend as they commemorated their son’s fourth birthday. Makai Beasley enjoyed an eventful bash that included his name being spelled out in lights.
Montana and Malik took to Instagram with birthday wishes for their son. “Happy birthday to my first born, my little Spiderman, the boy with the biggest sweetest heart, my world, my everything, the best big brother I could ever ask for … my baby boy,” Montana exclaimed. “I love you so much it hurts,” the celebrity mom wrote to her son.
“I am so beyond proud of the human you are becoming,” Montana wrote to Makai. “You are the best thing I ever did in my life. I’m so sad these years have flown by so fast but so happy and honored to continue to stand by your side and watch you grow into the incredible person you are becoming! Love you till infinity.”

Malik also wrote a beautiful message to his son on Makai’s special day. “Four years on this earth and you have already made an impact on it,” the Los Angeles Lakers wrote to his little one. “Your heart, your energy(s) , and your kindness is unmatched lil slime,” the celebrity father said. “I love you so much and I can’t wait to see what you have in store, little guy,” Beasley wrote to his little one. “Happy birthday kiddo.”
Dozens took to Instagram to help Malik and Montana celebrate their son’s fourth birthday. A few overreaching Lakers fans, however, took the opportunity to scrutinize Malik’s alleged shooting slump on the basketball court. Many of the star athlete’s supporters put the critics on blast for their actions.
“Stop criticizing his shooting on a post about his son’s birthday,” one social media follower advised. “We’ve got your back, brother,” another fan said.
Malik also addressed those who attempted to divert attention away from his son’s birthday. “It’s my son’s birthday and I’m trying to enjoy that,” Beasley shared. “Obviously, I want to be making shots (sic) myself. I’m harder on myself than anybody,” Malik continued.
“Laker Nation, it’s only a matter of time,” the star athlete assured his supporters. “I put in too much work not to,” Beasley added. “I promise when the time to turn up comes, it will come,” he continued. “Let’s focus on getting to the playoffs. Positively is the only way to move forward from here. Love y’all and just show some respect to me and my family.”

Makai is Montana Yao and Malik Beasley’s oldest child. The couple also has a daughter named Mia who celebrates her first birthday in November.
