Monica is a doting mom! The recording artist recently shared pictures and video footage from her night out with her daughter, Laiyah Brown, at the Sza concert.
“Thank you,” Monica wrote to Sza after she and Laiyah enjoyed the performance. “Your show was absolutely insane,” the celebrity mom added. “Truly the best we’ve seen,” Monica went on to tell Sza. “We are grateful for your genuineness and generosity! We adore you Sza,” the recording artist said.
Monica and Laiyah were sure to share pictures from their outing at the Sza concert. “It’s everything and y’all are everything,” Monyetta Shaw told Monica and her daughter. “The way you love on your people, especially your kids is so admirable,” another fan said. “If stay out the way and In her bag was a person, it’s you,” the supporter added. “God bless you, your family, and all you touch.”
Monica continues to be a model example for artists to follow in the music industry. “I would hope I could remind people of something I told my 7-year-old the other day,” the recording artist shared during a recent interview. “Perfection does not exist,” Monica shared.
“As I talk about what has happened in my life and as transparent as I’ve been, I would hope that’s one of the key things [people] could take from it: that being genuine is important,” the recording artist added. “Being loving to other people is important. Knowing that serving only yourself would be a mistake in this lifetime,” Monica continued.
“You have to serve others,” the singer told the press. “We’re all here with a purpose and finding your purpose is not always easy, but it exists before we were even born. I hope when people look at my life and look back over my career, they can at least see evidence of that.”
Laiyah Brown is Monica’s daughter with NBA star Shannon Brown. The recording artist has three kids in all.
