Jordan Sparks and her husband Dana Isaiah are helping their son to create memories that he will never forget. The couple recently took their four-year-old son to Disneyland and needless to say, the trip was a hit!

“We took DJ to DISNEYLAND for his first time!! He saw Spidey, met Anna, and rode Guardians of the Galaxy and had the biggest smile on his face—I don’t think he could have had a better day. It’s so wonderful seeing the world through his eyes,” the American Idol Alum wrote in a post on her official Instagram account.
She continued, “Thank you to everyone at @disneyparks for making this a memory we will remember forever!! We had a blast!”
If you remember, the 32-year-old recently competed in season 31 of the fan-favorite dance competition show, Dancing With the Stars. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, the talented singer told the popular entertainment news outlet that it was her son who inspired her to compete, stepping outside of her personal comfort zone.
“I want to do this because it scares me,” she said in her interview about DWTS. “It scares me, terrified is the word. I’m terrified and excited! I want to show him that you can be brave and scared at the same time,”
Sparks continued saying, “So I really am doing this for him.”
Sparks and her partner, Brandon Armstrong, did very well in the competition, hanging on before elimination in week eight.
In addition to his first trip to Disney, DJ had another first this fall…he started school. The “Stop This Feeling” singer commented to People about DJ’s latest first saying that, “There’s a lot of new chapters and new beginnings happening and it feels a little frantic a little bit. But at the same time, when I come home and I’m able to just sit with him and bond with him, we have that reconnection moment, it makes it all worth it.”
Cheers to many more DJ firsts. We cannot wait to continue on with this amazing family and watch each and every minute of their journey.
