The weekend was quite eventful for Mariah Carey and her daughter, Monroe Cannon. The tween joined her mom onstage at Mariah’s Merry Christmas To All show in Toronto.
Monroe wore a white dress that matched Carey’s formal attire. The youngster sang a duet of ‘Away In A Manger’ with her mom. “Thank you so much to all the Canadian fans and lambs that came out to celebrate with me at my show,” Mariah wrote to her fans on Saturday (Dec. 10). “Merry Christmas to All,” the recording artist exclaimed.

Mariah Carey is recognized by many as the Queen of Christmas. Her ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ single tops the charts every year during the holiday season. Mariah has gladly embraced the title of Queen of Christmas and even released a children’s book, The Christmas Princess, this year in honor of the holiday.
”When I’m not on stage and I’m in holiday mode, there are rules that I set,” Carey recently shared of her festive attitude during this time of year. “I don’t care who it is – the kids, if I have guests, whatever – nobody is allowed to play or watch anything other than a Christmas-related thing,” the singer told USA Today. “If I wake up in the middle of the night and walk into the living room, and the music isn’t playing and the lights aren’t on, I just can’t handle it.”
Carey aims to spread loads of love through her children’s book and Christmas tour. “I’m trying to make (these shows) as magical as possible,” Mariah said of her Merry Christmas To All performances. “Oftentimes as a child, or even throughout earlier parts of my career, I did not feel loved,” she admitted. “I certainly never felt unconditional love and that’s what I have with my fans: that connection. So I’m extremely excited.”
