Boris Kodjoe and his son, Nicolas, looked dapper at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever earlier this week.
Boris and Nicolas went for a semi-formal look. Nicolas was as tall as his father in the pictures, which was amazing to many who remember the teen from his younger years.
“Father/son outing at the @blackpanther premiere,” Boris said of the event on Thursday (Oct. 27). “Congrats to @ryan__._coogler and team for … wow,” Boris continued. “Speechless,” he added. Kodjoe described the movie as “spectacular” before suggesting fans “just go see it for yourselves.”
Lexus was a proud sponsor of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere. The car brand introduced its new Lexus RZ 450e on the red carpet and invited the film’s stars to take pictures beside the customized vehicle, which was wrapped with Wakanda in mind. Boris Kodjoe and his son did not let the evening pass without taking a few shots in front of the electric vehicle.
In many ways, the Kodjoes are an inspiration to fans who have followed their family through the years. Boris and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, wed in 2005. The celebrities welcomed their daughter, Sophie, that same year. Nicolas was born in 2006.
Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe recently shared the secret of their evolving marriage. “We do lots of traveling,” Nicole told ESSENCE magazine. “I think that’s been our love language,” she added. “We travel so well together. And he’s from Germany and Ghana, so when the kids came, we were a traveling family. We would go to see their grandma and their grandfather. It was really part of our lives,” Nicole Ari Parker explained.
“I think also, we’re trying to slowly–you might be the first to know this–do what they all say about that morning breath work together,” the actress continued. “We haven’t perfected it. It sometimes ends with laughing. It doesn’t have to be long, but we’re slowly trying to breathe together.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever comes to theaters on November 11, 2022.
