Blue Ivy Carter continues to make her mark. The youngster stole the show during a recent photoshoot with her parents and grandparents just days after bidding upwards of $80,000 for diamond earrings at a charity event.
In the recent family photoshoot, Blue wore a blue outfit that was as lively as her personality. The youngster took several pictures with just her mom, Beyoncé, that were nothing short of adorable. The love was evident as Bey gave her daughter full attention in the shots. Blue also sat in the middle of the group candid as she was surrounded by her father, Jay-Z, and her grandmother, Tina Lawson.
Blue was one of her grandma’s biggest supporters at this year’s Wearable Art Gala hosted by WACO Theater. The youngster bid $80,000 on diamond earrings formerly owned by her mom. Blue did not win the jewelry pieces as she was outbid by Mielle Organics owner Monique Rodriguez. Still, dozens recognized the youngster as being “so rich” after the segment.
All of the Carter kids are indeed wealthy. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have managed to build an empire that includes music as well as fashion. It was during a recent interview with Oprah Daily that Tina Lawson shared how Blue Ivy and her younger siblings are honing their sense of style.
“They are little fashionistas,” Lawson said of the Carter kids. “They have definite determination about what they like and what they don’t like,” the designer continued.
“When Beyoncé’s doing the first samples [of her brand], they get them, and some things they love, and some things you can tell are not their favorite,” Lawson said of how the Carter kids contribute to the styles that flow out of Beys Ivy Park collection.
“Kids like things that are comfortable,” Tina shared with Oprah Daily. “They don’t want anything that’s scratchy or too tight or high around the neck,” she added.
Blue Ivy Carter made Beyoncé and Jay-Z parents for the first time in January 2012. The couple has three kids in all.
