Recently, Wild N’Out star Nick Cannon shared photos from his three-week-old daughter’s photo shoot with celebrity photographer, Patty Othon. In the newborn photo shoot, Oynx Ice wears a crown, and her father pledges to, “…never let [it] fall.”
Cannon shares his ninth out of ten children with model LaNisha Cole. Yet, while the pair was celebrating and sharing their thoughts on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, many critics of the entertainer shared their opinions as well. And some, even attached the mothers. Cannon graciously encouraged them to direct all of their comments to him instead.
“In this moment of celebration and jubilee, I wish to mute any low vibrational frequencies and only rejoice with the Highest Class of Civilization who are truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension,” Cannon wrote in an Instagram post.
He continued, “I’ve given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be.”
Cannon went on to say before wrapping up his post, “Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, to not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions, because when they do they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain and social programming onto her unblemished beauty. As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength. So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.”
Onyx was born nine days prior to little brother, Rise Messiah Cannon, who was born on Sept. 23. Cannon shares Rise with Brittany Bell, with whom he also shares 20-month-old daughter Powerful Queen, six-year-old son, Golden.
Cannon’s additional children include:
- 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex Mariah Carey
- Three-month-old, Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi.
- 16-month-old twins Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa, who is currently expecting her third child.
- Cannon is also father to Zen, whom he shared with Alyssa Scott. Zen died at five-months-old in December of last year after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Congratulations to Nick and LaNisha. Onyx Ice is truly nothing less than a little princess.
