Basketball Wives star Brooke Bailey is mourning the death of her 25-year-old daughter, Kayla Nicole Bailey. The Reality TV star took to Instagram with the news of her daughter’s passing on Monday (Sep. 26).

“Forever my baby,” Brooke wrote as a tribute to her daughter. “Pretty Black, a.k.a. Kayla Nicole Bailey,” the Basketball Wives star added. “This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon.”

Dozens gave Brooke their condolences upon getting wind of her loss. “RIP Kayla,” Brandi Maxiell shared. “We luv (sic) you, baby girl,” she exclaimed. “I love you so much, Brooke,” Brandi went on to tell the celebrity mom. “You are so strong and continue to trust in God to carry you through this storm, sis,” Maxiell further shared. “We are all here for you and your family.”

Somaya Reece wrote, “I don’t know what to say Brooke except I am sending healing energy to you and your family. My deepest condolences.”

Kayla was Brooke Bailey’s only daughter. She followed in her mom’s footsteps as an entrepreneur and showcased her talent as a certified hairstylist on Instagram. Kayla named her business KNB INC and garnered more than 1,000 followers on her company’s social media platform. Her September booking calendar had open dates, per her Instagram profile, which encouraged prospective clients to direct message her for an appointment.

“I know there’s (sic) no words that me (sic) or anyone can say to take away this pain, so I won’t even try,” Masika Kalysha wrote in response to Brooke’s social media post on Monday. “But I’m praying for you so hard,” the former Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood (LHHH) stat added. “I’m so sorry.”

Brooke took to Instagram with gratitude for friends and fans giving support during such a difficult time. “My baby girl is so Loved by all of you,” Bailey exclaimed in a separate post. “The love and support my family has received today is unreal and so appreciated,” she added. “Thank you! Kayla left a mark on so many lives. She entered the room and demanded love, respect, and attention. If you had the pleasure of meeting her and being friends with her, she has forever changed your life.”
