Erica Mena and Safaree have finalized their divorce and worked out an agreement on joint parenting. The Love and Hip Hop (LHH) stars closed the door on their marriage dissolution petition last week.
According to TMZ,
“Legal documents obtained by TMZ show the judge signed off on the divorce September 12, after the exes came to their agreement through arbitration. Among those terms … Safaree will dole out $4,305 a month in child support.”
Erica Mena filed to divorce her husband last year after he allegedly abandoned his family to party with women. Erica was heavily pregnant at the time and gave birth to their son, Legend, prematurely. The LHH star separated from her husband before ultimately coming to the conclusion that the marriage was not redeemable.

Erica and Safaree discussed how they would rear their children post-divorce during a recent episode of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL).
“I’m still going to be around,” Safaree told his ex. “At the end of the day, whether me and you are together or not, I’m going to still be 100 percent for my family,” the celebrity father declared.
Erica was not convinced that her husband would be present. “How when you don’t have a family now,” she asked him. “You’re living somewhere else. I’m living here. That’s a broken home,” Mena explained.
“And therefore, I have to suffer because you get to live where you stay 20 minutes away, wake up when you feel like it, do as you please,” she told her ex.”I have to be around the clock, 24/7, a mother and a father, when you’re not around, to our children.”
Erica Mena and Safaree welcomed their daughter, safire Majesty Samuels, on February 3, 2020. Their son arrived on June 28, 2021. Erica and Safaree were married for two years before she decided to file for divorce. Mena also has a son named King from a previous relationship.
